Dominion QROPS

The Dominion QROPS*, established in Malta, is a bespoke overseas pension arrangement that comprises a number of plans that have been registered with HMRC as QROPS. The plans can confer significant advantages within a highly regulated and compliant environment and are primarily reserved for those individuals holding in excess of £500,000 in their UK pension arrangements.

The plans are designed mainly for individuals who wish to improve upon the profile of any UK registered pension plan that might be held. This includes a number of non tax advantages that can be transferred into the Dominion Malta Retirement Plan that can be analysed for holders of UK registered pension plans on a bespoke, case by case basis.

Dominion is committed to building long-term relationships with its clients and advisors based on strong personal foundations. This, coupled with the security which is offered via the Malta Financial Services Authority who oversees the operation of the scheme (which is also audited on an annual basis by KPMG), makes the Dominion QROPS the QROPS of choice for expert advisors and informed pension holders.

All scheme members and advisors are offered, in addition to a sophisticated administration platform managed by over 80 staff, the in-house technical expertise of Dominion's tax consultancy division comprising of professional accountants, chartered tax advisors and pension tax specialists with over 100 years of collective industry experience.

Dominion is recognised as a firm which is able to offer innovative solutions to an increasingly sophisticated client base. With offices in Jersey, Malta and the UK and currently over £2bn of investment funds under management, Dominion is one of the only independent trust companies with offices situated both inside and outside the EU where pensions administration comprises a core service offering.

*The 'Dominion QROPS' is a collective marketing name for the Dominion Malta Retirement Plan 2010 and the Dominion EU Retirement (US Qualified) Plan. All schemes are registered as personal retirement schemes under Article 3 of the Special Funds (Regulation) Act 2002 and as QROPS with HMRC (reference numbers 504016, and 504130).
